About

Our Story

A shared connection to natural medicine—and a desire to make life a little easier for others—brought Kirby and Rhonda’s family together. Kirby’s gifts for growing nourishing food and natural medicines found a home alongside Rhonda’s lifelong care for children, families, and community. As he became part of the family, sharing what helped them cope, communicate, and feel well became a natural part of their lives together.

Through navigating anxiety, stress, and trauma, they discovered a shared purpose in helping others find their own ways forward. Their experiences grew into a vision for a hot-springs retreat where nourishing food, natural therapies and medicines, education, and time in nature could come together. Bringing these opportunities into one welcoming place would give people room to explore different approaches, discover what fits their needs, and learn practical tools to support mental and physical wellbeing at home.

They founded Spectrum Wellness Foundation to put that care within reach of more people. Through nonprofit funding, scholarships, education, and community programs, they aim to reduce financial barriers so children and adults of all abilities can participate and feel welcome. Spectrum grows from the connection that brought their family together—and the hope of sharing that sense of support and belonging with others.

Our Mission

Spectrum Wellness Foundation is dedicated to expanding access to mental and physical wellness support for people of all abilities and financial circumstances. Through charitable funding, scholarships, and community partnerships, we bring nature, nourishing food, education, and natural therapies within reach of more children, adults, and families. We create welcoming spaces where each person can feel safe, seen, and heard—a place that supports their wellbeing and teaches practical tools they can carry home to implement into their everyday life.

Our Vision

A future where seeking support feels natural, belonging comes without conditions, and every family has opportunities to grow stronger together. We envision a lasting change in how people care for themselves and one another - so that healthier ways of coping, communicating, and connecting become a legacy passed from one generation to the next.
